In hindsight, January 2020 was arguably the worst possible time to start up a new band, but that didn't stop Cleveland, OH's Last Gasp from making the best of a bad situation. The veteran musicians have pulled from a wide array of influences to create a sound that's all their own while still feeling grounded in the rich tradition of hardcore punk in Northeast Ohio. Fairly political, anxiously personal, straightforward hardcore for fans of AFI, Mental, Bracewar, Carry On, and Panic.
